VENICE — From Dec. 1 through Wednesday, the concessionaire at Snook Haven Park operated the restaurant there without a license.

Sarasota County officials informed Kenneth Keefe, owner of Sunrise Sunset Concessions of Snook Haven, this week that the license had expired, after learning about the lapse from the Sun. Keefe got the company’s permanent food service license up to date Wednesday by paying $394 to the state Department of Business and Professional Regulation, including a $100 late fee.
