PUNTA GORDA — The residents of Windmill Village are serious about helping others.

Their social club’s Wednesday night dinners are well-attended by residents who come to eat, socialize with their neighbors, and donate to individuals or organizations in need of a boost. They also hold other fundraising events — some open to the public — to support their causes.
