Pirates trump Tarpons

PORT CHARLOTTE — Charlotte High School had one last swing at Port Charlotte Wednesday night during the District 7A-11 semifinal. Just as they had twice before, the Tarpons laid it all out on the table.
And just like twice before, Charlotte couldn’t manage to keep down the Pirates, who won 70-58 to advance to Friday’s championship against Sarasota.
