NORTH PORT — The managers of Thomas Ranch will be conducting a 200-acre prescribed burn today, according to North Port Fire Marshal Michael Frantz. A large smoke column will be visible to city residents, and to travelers along Tamiami Trail and River Road. There are light northerly winds today.
