ARCADIA — The Southwest Florida motorcycle community did not disappoint Saturday as thousands of bikers rode into Arcadia for the fall Arcadia Bike Fest.
Saturday’s event was only the third so far put on by local nonprofit Arcadia Main Street.
Event organizers expected around 8,000 motorcyclists to attend throughout the day-long event.
That’s an estimated 2,000 more people than the March 2019 event. An official count was not available at the time of this report.
The first Arcadia Bike Fest took place in November 2018. Word spread fast since then getting the attention of bikers from Charlotte, Dade and Sarasota counties, as well as Fort Lauderdale, Kissimmee and even as far north as Jacksonville and sometimes farther than that, according to Arcadia Main Street representatives.
