The Charlotte County Sheriff's Office reported the arrest of Bruce Wallace Griffin Jr., 31, for possession of a weapon or ammunition by a convicted felon, violation of a domestic protection order, resisting an officer without violence and failure to appear while out on bail on a felony charge.

Clarence Eddie Lewis Jr., 24, of Clewiston, was sentenced last month to four years in state prison on multiple charges of car burglaries, grand theft, petty theft, grand theft of firearms, attempted felony murder and home invasion robbery.

The DeSoto County Sheriff's Office reported the arrests of Kyle Lamar Chaney, 30, and Shalana Paulette Cook, 32, on numerous charges including burglary of a dwelling and grand theft.

Martin Timothy Allen, 33, a registered sex offender, was transported to the Department of Corrections to serve a sentence of two years, five months and 23 days in state prison for failing to report information required of a convicted sex offender.

Katherine Paige Williams, 46, was arrested on three counts of exploitation of an elderly man for less than $10,000 and three counts of grand theft of between $300 and $5,000.

The Charlotte County Sheriff's Office reported the arrest of Madisyn Patricia Kovitch, 20, on Feb. 9 on charges of uttering altered bills or checks, and grand theft between $100 and $300 from a dwelling. Her bond was set at $10,000 bond. Kovitch listed an address on S.W. Shores Avenue, Arcadia.

Logan Daughtrey, 18, was sentenced to five years of probation on charges of unarmed burglary of an unoccupied dwelling, grand theft between $300 and $5,000, and possession or use of drug paraphernalia.
