Last Friday night the Bulldogs made a first appearance in postseason play since 2014 when they won their district. With three straight seasons with less than four wins each, they got their feet wet in the postseason playoffs.

It was a pretty simple storyline for the DeSoto County Middle School softball team as they faced Sebring in their final game of the season. Win, and they are champions of the tough Heartland Conference. Lose, and they fall into a three-way tie with Hardee and Sebring for the top spot.

For the third straight year the DeSoto County Middle School football team ended their season with a win. The 36-16 win over Sebring gave the Bulldogs a 3-4 record for the season. Two of their four losses were to Hardee, a team that only gave up one touchdown this year.
