PUNTA GORDA - The Punta Gorda-Port Charlotte-North Port Women’s Council of Realtors has obtained the Women’s Council Network Certification.
It’s a program that recognizes and rewards the most active local networks that achieve five key benchmarks of network excellence and exceeds basic charter requirements per its national affiliation and provides outstanding member service.
“While nearly 240 networks serve our business leaders nationwide, just over half meet rigorous standards to be certified by the national organization” said Crystal Coovert, 2021 president of the Punta Gorda-Port Charlotte-North Port Women’s Council network.
She said it is especially noteworthy to achieve the certification during a year of continued pandemic challenges when “the national organization’s strict benchmarks were even more challenging.”
While networks maintain their charter with national by meeting baseline criteria, only certified networks are recognized as networks of excellence by meeting or exceeding rigorous benchmarks.
The certification program ensures that members receive quality service in benchmarks related to member services, leadership development, administration and governance, communications, recruitment and retention.
