The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office is searching for two men in a “quick change” fraud at the Zaxby’s on Cochran Boulevard on Nov. 5. Using distraction techniques, the suspects allegedly made off with $150 and a side of fries, according to CCSO.

The suspects caught on surveillance video are two black males, one wearing a purple and grey striped shirt and the other in a black Punisher shirt. They left the scene in a blue 2011-2012 Volkswagen Golf Wagon with unique mismatched black painted wheels, CCSO reported.

Fire damages Port Charlotte house

A house fire caused heavy smoke damage to a home on the 2000 block of Sunninglow St., Port Charlotte. Charlotte County Fire & EMS responded at 2:40 p.m. and extinguished the flames by 3:06 p.m., according to spokesperson Todd Dunn.

The fire was concentrated in a bedroom, bathroom, closet and hallway, though the entire house received heavy smoke damage, according to a press release. No one was inside the house when firefighters arrived, and firefighters extinguished the fire before it got into the attic.

FPL also responded and disconnected electricity to the home. The State Fire Marshal was investigating the cause of the fire.

• Gerald Marshall Lemmon, 28, 3100 block of Sunrise Trail, Port Charlotte. Charges: DUI, possession of not more than 20 grams of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond: $5,000.

• Rolando Enrique Gomez-Castro Sr., 58, 400 block of Rutland Circle, Port Charlotte. Charge: DUI .15 or higher or with person under 18 in the vehicle. Bond: $2,500.

• Gail Ann Casa, 36, 21000 block of Glendale Ave., Port Charlotte. Charge: violation of probation. Bond: none.

• Curtis Elliot Keesee, 44, homeless of Port Charlotte. Charges: driving while license suspended 3rd or subsequent offense, possession of firearm ammunition or weapon by Florida convicted felon, unlawful possession of concealed handcuff key, possession of drug paraphernalia, and convicted felon fails to register. Bond: none.

• Erin Marie Benitez, 38, 2600 block of Pebble Creek Place, Port Charlotte. Charge: violation of probation. Bond: none.

• Eezay Kendley, 37, homeless of Port Charlotte. Charge: trespass failure to leave property upon order by owner. Bond: none.

• Christina Marie Morella, 47, 11900 block of Xavier Ave., Port Charlotte. Charge: failure to appear and two underlying charges. Bond: $15,000.

• Juan Alberto Lozada Jr., 32, 1500 block of Noble Terrace, Port Charlotte. Charge: violate domestic violence injunction. Bond: none.

• John Henry Anthony, 50, 3900 block of Cuthbert Ave., North Port. Charges: engagine in contracting business without certification and grand theft more than $5,000 less than $10,000. Bond: none.

• Thomas Lee Leal, 38, of Lehigh Acres. Charges: driving while license suspended 3rd or subsequent offense and possession of not more than 20 grams of marijuana. Bond: $7,500.

• Jesse Raoul, 32, of Largo, Fla. Charges: two counts of violation of probation. Bond: none.

• James Vernon Prine, 35, of Holiday, Fla. Charge: violation of probation. Bond: none.

• William Francis Reed III, 52, 700 block of South Broadway, Englewood. Charges: disorderly intoxication and violation of probation. Bond: $1,500.

• Martin Xavier Iepson, 30, of Ave Maria, Fla. Charges: petty theft 2nd degree 1st offense, false ID given to law enforcement officer, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, and out of county warrant. Bond: none.

• Antonio Contreras-Cohetero, 34, of Arcadia. Charge: operating a motor vehicle without a valid license. Bond: $1,000.

• David Lee Applegarth, 60, 21000 block of Keeler Ave., Port Charlotte. Charge: accident unattended vehicle or prop without leaving ID. Bond: $1,000.

The Punta Gorda Police Department reported the following arrest:

• Deborah Anne Razo, 55, 300 block of East Virginia Ave., Punta Gorda. Charge: possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond: $500.

• David Edward Martin, 54, 21900 block of Catherine Ave., Port Charlotte. Charge: possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond: $2,500.

• Gary Lee Brown, 49, 2500 block of Saturday St., North Port. Charge: out of county warrant. Bond: none.

The Florida Highway Patrol reported the following arrest:

• Eder Jose De Souza, 38, of Sarasota. Charge: operating a motor vehicle without a valid license. Bond: $1,000.

The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:

• Teresa Colaizzi, 54, 800 block of Mirabella Circle, Venice. Charge: hold for Manatee County for failure to appear for possession of a controlled substance. Bond: $5,000.

• Laurie Mann, 61, 650 block of Tahiti Court, Punta Gorda. Charge: contempt of court for failure to appear (original charge: no motor vehicle registration). Bond: $500.

The North Port Police Department reported the following arrests:

• Barbara Adams, 26, 5520 block of Kenwood Drive, North Port. Charge: possession of a synthetic narcotic with intent to sell or manufacture. Bond: $7,500.

• Kevin Denolf, 36, 8550 block of Portobello Avenue, North Port. Charges: possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, possession of narcotics equipment and larceny. Bond: $1,670.

• Devon Ford, 27, 5520 block of Kenwood Drive, North Port. Charge: possession of a synthetic narcotic with intent to sell or manufacture. Bond: $7,500.

• Matthew Schulz, 38, 500 block of Kumquat Court, Sarasota. Charges: selling a synthetic cannabinoid within 1,000 feet of a building of worship, school or business and two counts of selling a synthetic cannabinoid within 1,000 feet of a park. Bond: $47,500.

• Chrystena Surprenant, 34, 500 block of Kumquat Court, Sarasota. Charges: two counts of selling a synthetic cannabinoid within 1,000 feet of a building of worship, school or business, two counts selling a synthetic cannabinoid within 1,000 feet of a park and three counts of using a two way communication device to facilitate a felony. Bond: $59,500.

The Sarasota Police Department reported the following arrest:

• Drita Hajroja, 24, 510 block of South Albee Farm Road, Nokomis. Charge: contempt of court for failure to appear (original charge: two counts of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, possession of marijuana and possession of narcotics equipment). Bond: $34,000.
