Tony Arroyo, 82, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2023.
Tony was born on November 9, 1940 in Manhattan, New York and was a resident of Port Charlotte for over 40 years. Tony retired as a Jeweler after many years; working as a freelance jeweler before and after owning his own store. He enjoyed computers, playing pool with his friends and watching vintage TV shows.
Tony is preceded in death by his wife of 54 years Elsa, his parents, a brother, and two sisters and his son-in- law Chris. He is survived by his daughters and son-in-law Audrey Dugas of Baton Rouge, LA, Susan and John Hoeben of Punta Gorda, FL and Adrienne Chaney of Fletcher, NC; grandchildren Corey, Andrew, Hailey, Shannon and wife Jan, Joey, Brian and Blake; and his great-grandchildren.
A Memorial and Reception will be held Monday, March 20 at 4 p.m. at Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home at 2405 Harbor Blvd., Port Charlotte. In lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation be made to Tidewell Hospice at the Tidewell Foundation https://tidewellfoundation.org/donate/
