Surrounded by his loving family, Richard (Dick) Caswell of Port Charlotte, FL, passed away peacefully at the Tidewell Hospice House of Lakewood Ranch, Florida on April 14, 2023. He had suffered from Alzheimer's for five years. Dick was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on January 2, 1945.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lee Caswell and brothers Gerald Caswell and Merle Caswell. He is survived by his mother Agnes Taylor, his wife Beverly Caswell, his two sons Ron Caswell (Julie) and Chad Caswell (Noelle), both from Kalamazoo, MI and his two stepdaughters Janet Becher (David) and Tracy Shamonsky both from Lakewood Ranch, FL, three granddaughters, Katie and Abbie Becher and Molly Gish (Ryan), three grandsons, Austin Keelen (Katie), Jason and Matt Zaleski and great grandchild Owen Gish, numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
