Once again collector car enthusiasts had their annual National Collector Car Appreciation Day (as proclaimed by the U.S. Senate) celebration. Kudos to Penny and Gordon Muir, owners of Penny's Diner in Bal Harbor Plaza for sponsoring this annual event. Many thanks to DJ Randy Wright of Tom's Traveling Tunes for supplying the music and his pretty assistant Melinda Dye for assisting in the 50/50 raffle sales.
Thanks also to VMCCA member Biron Turecamo for judging; Craig Henry of Peace River Car Club and Mike Gussin of the PGI Car Club for assembling their members to attend along with the private car owners for bringing 100-plus collector vehicles to make this year's event a success. One last big thank you to Steve Wider and his helpers for setting up his canopy to keep me out of the sun. Once again, I couldn't have done it without everyone's assistance and "car people" attendance.
See you down the road!
