Two people from North Port were sentenced Wednesday for sales of methamphetamine to a Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office undercover detective in January 2016.

Darrell Lee Small, 36, allegedly sold undercover detectives a total of 40 grams of methamphetamine over the course of several encounters. His original charges included conspiracy to traffic in drugs and possession of methamphetamine. Small received a 25-year sentence for the conspiracy charge and an additional 15 years for the sale charge.

His co-defendant, Kellie Williams, 28, received a seven-year sentence for her involvement.
