Vineland Elementary School announced its Leaders of the Month for February.

They are kindergarten students Anthony Abreu, Briella Pickle, Macie Clark, Michaela King and Sawyer Southwell; first graders Nolan Slifer, Mason Grimes, Blake Dilmore, Nevaeh Cowan, Trent Pffafendorf, and Skylar Hobin; and second graders Alexandria Wells, Alexa Garraputa, Bailey Cusumano, Aaron Angott, Ben Chiem and Makayla Funke.

Third-grade students are Jenna Schwab, Vivian Micallef, Joseph Lokay, Landyn Fuqua and Hanna Kowalewski; fourth graders Audrey Angott, Charlie Cooke, Ariana Cusumano and Dexter Lewis; and fifth graders Danielle Colletti, Aiden Silva, Emma Elfenbein, Adrianna Wack and Michael Schack.

The ladies of the Rotonda V.F.W. Post 10476 Ladies’ Auxiliary sponsor Vineland’s Leader of the Month program, and representatives were on hand to award students with a special ribbon for showing leadership in the classroom. The students received their awards at a ceremony at the school.

SCHOLARSHIP AVAILABLE

The GFWC Rotonda West Woman’s Club is offering two Bella Williams Memorial Continuing Education Scholarships at $1,500 each. Applicants should be from the Englewood/Rotonda West area and pursuing advanced education or retraining in a college or vocational school.
