Rotonda Elks Lodge 2719 handed out hundreds of Trick-or-Treat bags this Halloween. The bags included candy, pencils, rulers, red ribbons and coloring books, plus educational materials for children, pre-teens and parents about the dangers of drug and alcohol abuse. Cathy Redman, Debbie Sommers and Exalted Ruler Phil Sommers gave out the bags at the Englewood Walmart, while Sam Besase handed them out on Mark Twain Lane in Rotonda, a popular trick-or-treating spot. Above is young Luke Wilson with Phil Sommers. For more about the lodge, visit www.rotondaelks.org or stop by the lodge at 303 Rotonda Blvd. E.
