ENGLEWOOD — Englewood Community Hospital is announcing new visitor hours effective immediately.
Visiting hours are now seven days per week. Hours are:
• 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for inpatient units.
• 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. for Intensive Care Unit.
“Visitor access is very important for the well-being of our patients, for good communication and coordination of care,” said hospital spokesperson Julie Beatty in an email.
“During our recent COVID-19 surge, we needed to restrict visitor access to keep our caregivers, our patients and their families safe. Now, thanks to a continued decline in the number of COVID-19 cases in our community, we are lifting some of those restrictions.”
All visitors must attest to not having COVID-19 symptoms or exposure to a COVID-19 positive individual prior to entering the hospital.
Visitors for ICU patients will be limited to person at a time during designated hours. For patients undergoing procedures, visitors must remain in the waiting area.
Face coverings are required at all times by everyone on campus.
