The 5th Annual Jeepin’ with Judd is almost here.
It happens February 22-24 at Clear Springs Ranch in Bartow (near Ledley Wear Road and Cox Road), and while the only vehicles allowed on the trails will be Jeeps — pre-registration is $60 per Jeep — the event is open to the public and free to attend.
I imagine what you’re thinking right now is, “Well Grady, I don’t own a Jeep, so why should I be interested in this?” And to that I would say, “Well (insert your name here), while the Jeeps and trails are the big draw, there’s also camping, bounce houses for the kiddos, food and merchandise vendors, and raffles with great prizes.”
And if you have a Jeep but you’re not sure what this is all about, c’mon out and experience a little taste of it. If you do, I’m sure we’ll see you and your Jeep next year.
In 2018, we had 1,605 Jeeps participating. Jeep enthusiasts came from hundreds of miles away, and the reason is simple — it’s just so much fun. The internet reviews of this event really tell the story, so if you have considered going, or know someone who enjoys these type of events, check it out. Pre-registration for participating Jeeps ends Feb. 15. Go to JeepinWithJudd.com for complete details.
All proceeds from Jeepin’ with Judd go to Polk Sheriff’s Charities, Inc., which benefits the community associated with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office. So many good times — and it’s all for a good cause.
