Melissa Blais, 34, 2400 block of Newberry St., Port Charlotte. Charges: three counts of probation violation (original charges: petty theft third or subsequent offense and two counts of grand theft for more than $300 but less than $5,000). Bond: none.

Luis Galan, 25, 4300 block of Dutilly Road, North Port. Charges: unarmed burglary of an unoccupied dwelling, fraud for false information given to a pawn shop owner, dealing in stolen property and violation of probation for possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana and first offense DUI. Bond: $31,500.

Luis Garcia-Gonzalez, 24, 3400 block of Rockman St., North Port. Charges: obscene communication for child pornography and two counts of possession of child pornography. Bond: $1,500.

Madeline Redmon, 49, 600 block of W. Tamiami Trail, Nokomis. Charge: domestic aggravated battery on a person 65 years and older. Bond: none.

Robert St. Croix, 34, 100 block of Kings Highway, Port Charlotte. Charge: contempt of court for failure to appear (original charge: possession of a controlled substance without a prescription). Bond: $15,000.

Christopher Tolle, 30, of Ohio. Charge: out-of-state fugitive hold from Adams County, Ohio. Bond: none.

The North Port Police Department reported the following arrests:

Caleb Alvarado, 18, 3400 block of Nekoosa Street, North Port. Charges: hold for Charlotte and Polk counties for failure to appear (original charge: driving with a suspended license first offense), larceny and resisting arrest without violence. Bond: $2,000.

Hector Baldovinos, 35, 1400 block of Kirkwood St., North Port. Charges: possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana, possession or use of narcotics equipment, driving with a suspended license. Bond: $1,120.

Michael Coley, 34, of Fort Lauderdale. Charge: hit and run resulting in property damage. Bond: $120.

Danny Davis, 53, 4200 block of Wesley Lane, North Port. Charge: battery resulting in bodily harm. Bond: $500.

Adam Saleman, 37, 300 block of Eppinger Drive, Port Charlotte. Charge: violation of probation (original charge: two counts of possession of a weapon or ammunition by a convicted felon and driving with a suspended license). Bond: none.

Crystal Shrock, 33, 1200 block of Gantry Road, North Port. Charges: two counts of possession a controlled substance without a prescription. Bond: $2,000. 

Thomas Tucker, 34, 3800 block of Lorton Ave., North Port. Charge: weapon offense shooting a missile into a dwelling, vehicle, building or aircraft. Bond: $7,500.

The Venice Police Department reported the following arrests:

Sheila Casertano, 43, 500 block of Kumquat Court, Sarasota. Charges: larceny and resisting arrest without violence. Bond: $2,000.

Christopher Francois, 24, 500 block of Skylark Lane, Port Charlotte. Charges: resisting officer after refusing to stop fleeing from scene resulting in injury or death, driving with a suspended license second or subsequent offense, grand theft over $1,000, resisting arrest without violence and smuggling contraband into a detention facility. Bond: $30,000.

Randy Knight, 21, of Ohio. Charge: out-of-state fugitive arrest for Adams County, Ohio. Bond: none.

Diana Morello, 33, 300 block of Gulf Drive, Venice. Charge: contempt of court for failure to appear (original charge: possession of narcotics equipment). Bond: $5,000.

Dustin Sowards, 30, of Ohio. Charge: out-of-state fugitive arrest for Adams County Ohio. Bond: none.

Anthony Torres, 32, 12200 block of Majorca Place, North Port. Charge: contempt of court for failure to appear (original charge: no driver's license). Bond: $2,000.

Chasen Young, 18, of Ohio. Charge: out-of-state fugitive hold for Adams County, Ohio. Bond: none.
