PUNTA GORDA — The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Punta Gorda man Saturday night after he called 911 multiple times without there being an actual emergency, according to the CCSO arrest report.
A Punta Gorda man was charged with attempted homicide Friday after attacking a female victim with a hammer and knife, according to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office.
ARCADIA — An Arcadia man was arrested Monday morning after allegedly throwing his own bodily fluids on the back and buttocks of an unsuspecting shopper Sunday afternoon at Walmart in Arcadia, according to the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office.
NORTH PORT — Deputies arrested a Port Charlotte woman with “an extensive criminal record” who reportedly held a woman in a garage against her will and hit her in the eye with a “full-size axe.”
A $3,000 reward has been offered for information leading to an arrest of the culprit responsible for breaking into Peace River Wildlife Center and stealing a safe, according to the Punta Gorda Police Department.
Four people were arrested Friday morning after the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office conducted a search warrant around 7 a.m at a home on the 21800 block of Edgewater Drive.
