SEBRING — Where can you take a run with goblins and princesses on your tail?
At Highlands Hammock State Park on Saturday, Oct. 27 as the 9th annual Halloween 5K/10K Run/Walk Race starts off to benefit the Ridge Area Arc.
All proceeds benefit programs for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities who are served by Ridge Area Arc programs.
The Saturday morning race begins at 8:30 a.m. with registration that day at 8 a.m.
However, people who want to register early can take advantage of a reduced rate if they register by Monday, Oct. 15.
Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for kids 10 years old and younger.
Ridge Area Arc will also have goodie bags for all and a special runner gift for the first 100 to register and pay for the event.
Registration beginning Tuesday, Oct. 16, is $25 with no guarantee of a gift. If you want to get a gift, get in early.

Ridge Area Arc is a private, not for profit 501©3 organization founded in 1957 by Franklyn and Mary Ellen Ward.
The agency provides six different services to approximately 117 individuals with developmental and other disabilities. Support comes from private contributions and the Ridge Area Arc Foundation.
