Carl H. Brosius, 87, of Avon Park, Florida passed away on Dec. 3, 2018. Carl was born on Sept. 30, 1931 in Garrettsville, Ohio to Harry Homer and Florence Mabel (Luton) Brosius. Carl moved to Avon Park in 1999 from Orlando. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Sandra Kangas. Carl proudly served his country during the Korean War serving in the United States Air Force.

Carl was an active member of the Whispering Pines Baptist Church in Sebring. He enjoyed fishing and when his health allowed, loved to spend time on the golf course.

Carl is survived by his wife, Sandra K.; son, Raymond Carl Brosius of Weston, West Virginia; son, Randy Charles Brosius of Ocala; stepson, Peter A. Boutin of Orlando; daughter, Rachel L. Wilthew of Drennan, West Virginia; daughter, Robin L. McLeod of Ocala; stepdaughter, Cindy A. Brault of Andover, Connecticut; sister, Wilma R. Dilly of Mesa, Arizona; 13 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

Carl is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Paul Brosius, and sister, Mary J. Smith.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, 2018 at Whispering Pines Baptist Church in Sebring.
