Lawrence (Larry) Pacheco, 89, of Sebring, Florida passed away peacefully in his home on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2018. He was born on Feb. 1,1929 in New Bedford, Massachusetts to the late Joseph. T. and Mary S. (Domingos) Pacheco.

Larry was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 49 years, Doris M. Pacheco. Later in life, he was also predeceased by his special companion, Mildred Gottleber.

Larry is survived by his two daughters, Paula. M. (Peter) Gamwell of The Woodlands, Texas and Pamela M. (John) Crowe of Southborough, Massachusetts and Longboat Key, Florida. He also leaves behind one brother, Joseph Pacheco of Maine; five grandchildren, Brad (Karina) Gamwell, Stephen Crowe, Adam (Luciane) Gamwell, Stephanie Crowe and Jessica Gamwell, and one great-grandchild, Lizzie Gamwell.

Larry moved to Sebring in 1991 from Somerset, Massachusetts. He was a member of the Catholic faith. Larry dearly loved his family and his beloved canine companion, Hercules. He was an avid wood worker, loved dancing, traveling, enjoyed playing the guitar and was a member of the Elks.

There will be a memorial service at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23, 2018 at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Sebring, Florida.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Larry’s memory to Good Shepherd Hospice of Sebring, Florida or Nu-Hope Elder Care Services of Sebring, Florida.
