Sheryl Vieira

Sheryl Vieira, vice president of marketing and public relations for Caldwell Trust Company is a finalist for the national PR People “Marketer of the Year” award by PR News. A seven-year employee, she is one of only five finalists nationwide who have been short-listed in this classification.

PR News highlights the top talent and their achievements at the PR People Awards Luncheon next month at the historic National Press Club in Washington, DC. She will be competing with Marian Daniells of Vested, Craig Greiwe of Rogers & Cowan, Mark Nardone of PAN Communications, Melody Pleasure of Peraton and Jillian Sullivan of the Bank of America.

“I’m honored to be chosen as a finalist and to have the work carried out by our firm recognized,” Vieira said. “It’s sure to be an exciting occasion and I’m looking forward to meeting some of the other finalists chosen from across the country.”

Honored locally this year for her professional accomplishments she received the Ginnie Duffey Troyer Award of Professionalism by the Central West Coast Chapter of Florida Public Relations Association. Vieira secured an ADDY for excellence in advertising by AdFed Suncoast, the local chapter of the American Advertising Federation.

Caldwell Trust Company was awarded the Top Trust Banking Firm and the Top 500 Largest Companies on the Gulf Coast this year, all while celebrating monumental milestones as the company surpassed a billion dollars in assets under management and marked its 25th anniversary.

Vieira is a member of the Florida Public Relations Association and Florida Bankers Association. She represents this region of the United States as a member of the Residence International Marketing Advisory Committee

She has received The President’s Volunteer Service Award from the President’s Council on Service and Civic Participation in conjunction with the National & Community Service and USA Freedom Corps. She was a member of the Young Professionals of the Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Junior League of Sarasota.
