Douglas Feller has been rewarded for what Village on the Isle Board Chairman, Rev. Dr. Brian Armen described as being a genuine person valued greatly and respected by residents, staff, families, and others involved with this organization. He lives his life with integrity and highly-regarded principles that reflect our values, mission and purpose at Village on the Isle.
Feller is the new chief operating officer having served in multiple areas of the operations, including resident services director and campus operations director since joining in 2016.
A licensed nursing home administrator he currently oversees the health center named Luke Haven. Village on the Isle is opening a brand-new, state of the art health center next year and he is working with the clinical team and other campus departments for this transition.
A three-story building featuring 64-private units it will serve residents for post-acute care and rehabilitative services and offer long-term support. Village on the Isle employs 275 people to serve 380 residents on the campus. The community is also adding 46 new residential apartment homes, known as the Emerald Terraces in June.
Feller has a B.S. in health care management from the University of Alabama and MBA from Saint Leo University.
