VENICE — The Charter Review Committee holds what may be its final meeting Monday.
A meeting schedule that ran through the end of the year was created but the committee has gone through the entire charter and just needs to sign off on the final version of its recommendations.
It had requested a joint meeting with the City Council to go over them but the Council voted Tuesday just to have the committee chair make a presentation at a meeting in October.
Monday’s meeting is at 9 a.m.
The Planning Commission meets Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. to consider comprehensive plan and zoning map amendments for the Faro Property, a five-acre parcel at 3530 East Laurel Road; a site-and-development plan for Naples Lumber and Supply, at 216 Triple Diamond Blvd.; and the annual update of the Capital Improvement Schedule, among other items.
Both meetings will be in Council Chambers at Venice City Hall, 401 W. Venice Ave. The complete agendas, with instructions on connecting to the meetings, are at VeniceGov.com under the “Meetings” header.
