Beverly Joan Stuart

Joan Beverly Joan MacDonald Stuart , 89, of Venice, Florida, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, passed away on November 7, 2021. Beverly was born on September 24, 1932, in the Bureau of Manhattan, New York City, New York, to Irvin S. and Velma B. MacDonald.

You could always find Beverly at the Wee Blew Inn Restaurant causing trouble with the staff and patrons, whom she loved dearly and referred to as her "Wee Blew Family". She also leaves behind her Ponderosa Family and her extended family, Debbie Lacey and Lewis Lawson, whom she loved dearly and could always depend on them for anything, especially their companionship and love.

Beverly will be remembered for her amazing sense of humor and wit and her ability to pull a practical joke on anybody at any given moment. She will also be remembered for her love of family, friends and chocolate (Ghirardelli Dark & Sea Salt Carmel Chocolate Squares were her favorite).

Beverly is survived by her sister, best friend and confidant Shirley Smyth, of Flemington, New Jersey. She is also survived by her son Albert J. Daubenschmidt, Jr. and wife, Lisa, of Venice, Florida, her daughter Bonnie Dunaway and husband, David, of Sebec, Maine, and her son Mark S. Daubenschmidt and wife, Diane, of South Burlington, Vermont.

Beverly will be sadly missed by her seven grandchildren, A. J. Daubenschmidt, III, Heather Osborne and husband Tyler, Mark S. Daubenschmidt, Jr., Ashley Dunaway, Caleb Dunaway, Hannah Daubenschmidt and Alyssa Daubenschmidt; and seven great-granchildren, Keaten Eakright, Ethen Eakright, Zoey Eakright, Connor Osborne, Sofia Thompson, Grayson Osborne and Nora Osborne. Beverly will also be missed by her much loved special nieces and nephews. And by her special cat, Minnie.

Beverly is predeceased by her husband, Harry D. Stuart, her parents, and brother, Douglas E. MacDonald.

A private family service will be held in Vermont in the spring of 2022. Beverly was an avid giver to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and St. Francis Animal Rescue of Venice, if you have a desire to make a donation in her memory.
