SARASOTA — Students can explore more about science, technology, engineering, art and math during weekend classes at the Suncoast Science Center and Faulhaber Fab Lab.

STEAM Saturdays classes will return on Oct. 2 for students between grades 1-12.

Students will gain hands-on experience through activities and interaction with the high-tech Fab Lab, according to a news release.

Classes will include robotics, engineering, chemistry, art lab, coding and artificial intelligence, electric engineering, and build your brand.

The classes will be weekly from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays.

The courses offered were developed by high school student leaders and feature holiday editions, including Halloween chemistry.

Students do not need any experience and classes cost $40, which includes all supplies and home projects.
